Osteopath near Nork
Take the first step towards more comfortable movement
When you’re used to getting on with things, it’s easy to overlook an ache or work around a stiff joint. But if discomfort keeps returning or starts affecting your routine, you may want a clearer understanding of what is happening.
The Cole Practice welcomes patients from Nork to our Epsom and Sutton clinics. We offer individual osteopathic assessment, treatment and practical advice, with time to listen to your concerns and explain your options.
Have you started working around discomfort?
Perhaps you now turn your whole body to look behind you, hesitate before lifting something or find getting comfortable after a busy day more difficult. These small changes can become habits before you realise how much a problem is affecting you.
You may have a recent concern, a previous injury that still troubles you or symptoms that vary from week to week. An assessment gives you the opportunity to discuss the full picture.
We’ll ask what feels difficult, when you notice your symptoms and what you would like to do with greater ease.
Your first appointment: a conversation and an assessment
Your osteopath will begin by discussing your symptoms, general health and medical history. We’ll also ask about your work, everyday activities and any treatment or exercises you have already tried.
A physical assessment follows, which may include observing how you move and examining the area causing discomfort.
We’ll explain our findings in clear language and discuss whether osteopathic care is suitable. Before any treatment begins, we’ll talk through the proposed approach and answer your questions.
If your symptoms need further investigation or another type of care, we’ll explain this and advise you on the next steps.

Our clinics are in Epsom and Sutton. We welcome patients from Nork at either location.
Can I book if I’m not sure how to describe my symptoms?
Yes. Simply tell us what you have noticed and which activities feel different or uncomfortable. Your osteopath will ask questions to help understand your concerns.
Should I mention symptoms that come and go?
Yes. Knowing when symptoms appear, how long they last and what seems to affect them can be useful, even if they feel less troublesome on the day of your appointment.
