Osteopath near Cheam
Helping you get back to the activities you enjoy
A weekend walk, a round of golf or time spent in the garden can be an important part of your routine. When pain or restricted movement makes these activities uncomfortable, it can be frustrating to know how best to move forward.
The Cole Practice welcomes patients from Cheam to our Sutton and Epsom clinics. We provide individual osteopathic assessment, treatment and advice, with care shaped around your symptoms and the things you want to do more comfortably.
Has an ache started holding you back?
Discomfort doesn’t always begin with an obvious injury. You may notice stiffness building gradually, a recurring ache after activity or difficulty with a movement that previously felt straightforward.
Perhaps you’ve reduced your exercise, changed the way you lift or started avoiding certain jobs around the house. These adjustments can be useful to discuss during an assessment, alongside the symptoms themselves.
We’ll take time to understand what has changed, how it affects you and what you would like help with.
A thorough assessment and a clear explanation
Your first appointment includes a discussion about your symptoms, medical history and general health. We’ll ask about your work, activity levels, previous injuries and any treatment you have already received.
Your osteopath will then carry out a physical assessment. This may involve examining the area causing discomfort and asking you to perform movements to help us understand the problem.
We’ll explain our findings and discuss suitable options with you. Where osteopathic treatment is appropriate, we’ll describe the proposed approach and answer your questions before proceeding.
If your symptoms need further investigation or another form of care, we’ll explain this and advise you on the next steps.
